A Four Elements Workshop
In this workshop we’ll seek out inspiration, form and purpose in the natural world. We’ll observe nature, read works of Eco Lit, and do some nature writing of our own. Wear layers! If weather permits we’ll write outdoors in the green oasis of the Phoenix Garden in the heart of London’s West End.
This workshop will include:
brief preparatory readings and writing exercises (optional)
in-class discussion, meditations, and writing
afternoon tea
follow-up notes, including writing experiments, reading suggestions, and resources on writing and creativity

Andrew Wille is a book doctor and writing teacher. At Little, Brown and as a freelance editor he has published and edited many bestselling and critically acclaimed works of fiction and nonfiction. He studied and taught at Naropa University’s Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics in Boulder, Colorado, birthplace of the modern mindfulness movement, and draws on contemplative and holistic approaches to creativity in his teaching.
