William Ryan is the author of five novels, including the Captain Korolev detective novels, set in 1930s Moscow, which have been shortlisted for numerous awards and published in 18 jurisdictions and The Constant Soldier described by the Daily Mail as “subtle, suspenseful and superb” and shortlisted for the CWA’s Steel Dagger. His latest novel, A House of Ghosts, is published in October 2018 and has been described as a cross between Nancy Mitford and Stephen King. William is currently a Teaching Fellow on the Crime Writing programme at the University of East Anglia.
