John is a writer, perfumer and business consultant based in London.

He is the author of two novels in the dark fantasy genre published by Random House and five pseudonymous novels published by Time Warner and Headline.

At the end of 2014, John began formalising a lifelong passion for fine fragrance and founded Modernist Fragrance. An idiographic sequence of three fine fragrances, they are well regarded and reviewed by the niche fragrance community.

In his corporate financial career, he lived and worked in Europe, North America and Asia Pacific and was Managing Director of International Operations.
